WHO LEADS THE TEAM OF FACULTY:
The vision and planning of the institution is led by Founder-Director Mr. Venkat Muriki. Mr. Muriki is a renowned educationist with over 20 years of experience in test preparation, college education, and coaching for competitive examinations across India.
His vast knowledge and expertise in the field of education and his experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds have been instrumental in shaping the institution's vision and planning to provide the best possible learning experience to the students.
The guidance and leadership provided by Mr. Muriki, ensures that the institution is always moving forward in the right direction towards its goal of providing quality education.
CLASS STRENGTH OF 55 STUDENTS PER SECTION:
A lower teacher-to-student ratio provides an opportunity for deeper interactions between the students and teachers. This leads to better learning outcomes as teachers have more time to focus on individual student needs and provide personalized guidance and support.
The smaller class size also allows teachers to quickly identify gaps in understanding and prescribe corrective action. This approach provides a more personalized and effective learning experience for the students, which helps them to progress and achieve their full potential.
MENTORING OF STUDENTS BY SENIOR FACULTY:
Each section's academic responsibility is assigned to a senior faculty member, who serves as a leader and guide for the students' academic development. This ensures that each student has a dedicated and experienced mentor who can provide them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.
The academic progress of every student is closely monitored daily, and corrective actions are taken where and when necessary. This approach allows teachers to identify problems early on and address them before they become bigger issues. This ensures that students are always on the right track and progressing towards their academic goals.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING ONCE IN EVERY TWO MONTHS:
At the intermediate level, students are going through hormonal changes which can influence their behavior. Through parent-teacher meetings, parents are given an opportunity to gain insight into their child's academic performance and their attitude towards their learning in class and college.
This allows parents to raise any issues that may be affecting not just their child's academics, but also their overall development and personality. This open communication between parents and teachers allows for early identification and addressing of any issues that may be impacting the student's progress and helps to ensure that the students are provided with the support and guidance they need to succeed both academically and personally.
WORK SESSIONS BY SAME FACULTY WHO TEACHES THE CORE SUBJECT IN THE CLASS:
Students will be able to focus better on what is being taught as their doubts get clarified by the same teachers who deliver classes. As a result, students demonstrate better learning outcomes than when different teachers are involved. If students face challenges in learning or applying their learning, the teacher spends more time on remedial classes and additional practice assignments.
EXAM SCHEDULE:
Three mock tests will be conducted during any given week to prepare students for the actual examinations such as JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Mains, IIT-JEE Advanced, NCERT, and NEET. These mock tests are designed to simulate the patterns and format of the actual examinations, providing students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the types of questions and format of the exam.
This allows students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and focus on areas where they need improvement. Additionally, the mock tests provide a valuable opportunity for students to practice their time management skills and to develop their test-taking strategies, which can increase their chances of success on the actual exam.
ERROR ANALYSIS AFTER EXAMINATION:
A student may make mistakes during examinations for a variety of reasons, such as lack of conceptual clarity, errors in calculation, or sub-optimal effort. However, by identifying these mistakes and taking corrective action after every examination and mock test, the margin of error can be reduced.
This approach is a hallmark of studies at Excellencia, as the institution places a strong emphasis on post-examination assessment. This allows students to identify their weaknesses and areas for improvement and address them. This approach helps students improve their performance on future exams and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
WORKSHEET ANALYTICS:
Students are required to work on the problems in the worksheet, keeping track of the time taken to solve each one. If the solution is correct, they should then practice the problem using different approaches to minimize the time taken.
However, if the solution is incorrect, students are expected to identify the mistake and take corrective action to ensure that it is not repeated in the future. This approach helps students improve their problem-solving skills and develop a systematic and efficient way of approaching problems, which will help them improve their performance.
YOGA & SPORTS:
Every day, students are required to participate in yoga/pranayama and sports activities. Engaging in sports and games is an effective way to reduce stress, and separate sports time is allocated for boys and girls.
This daily routine not only helps the students to stay physically active and healthy but also improves their focus, concentration, and mental well-being. Also, regular practice of yoga/pranayama improves flexibility, balance and breathing, promoting calm and relaxation.
